Thai dives

thaaithaaA 600-strong group of divers have set a new world record in Thailand...

A 600-strong group of divers have set a new world record in Thailand by replanting huge sections of coral reefs off Koh Sor in Chon Buri in one giant dive. Event organisers hope that the event will make it into the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest mass dive to restore damaged coral. The reefs have suffered severe damage in this area because of unregulated shallow-water fishing. Navy divers and local students were among those who took part in the record-breaking dive.
