British underwater photographer and technical-diving aficionado Dan Burton has been diving for more than 20 years.
Dan is one of a few photographers with the skill to capture images in deeper waters. After working as a divemaster for two years in the late eighties, Dan began his deep mixed-gas diving courses with pioneer technical diver Billy Deans in 1991. In the following years, he worked on experimental trimix tables and numerous pioneering projects with Deans and the USA’s National Oceanic and Atmosphere Administration. Dan is a closed-circuit trimix rebreather diver and works full time as a professional underwater photographer and cameraman.
