Symbiosis Media Photograph - Thresher Shark
More about Symbiosis Media

RRP: £40

Description: One of the rarely viewed sharks- let alone photographed. The Thresher shark is a deep water shark with big black eyes and a whip like tail. The tail is used to corral fish together and then stun them so the shark can feed at its leisure. This particular shark was photographed down on the Southern end of Daedalus reef- Southern Red Sea. They are often seen around Daedalus reef particularly during the winter months. Usually a shy shark- this one got pretty curious and it was great to get a decent shot of him. Photo Details: Camera: Nikon D100 in Aquatica Housing Strobe : One Sea and Sea YS90 Strobe Shutter : 100th Aperture : f7 How to buy: Once you have submitted payment for this picture a high resolution image without watermark will be emailed to you as soon as possible. There are no limits to what you can do with this picture- for example making prints- using it as your desktop etc. The only thing not permitted is entering this picture into competitions etc where you claim to have taken it. Please watch this space for weekly updates and pictures for sale. About the photographers: Symbiosis is a partnership between Joseph Dallison and Karin von Arx. They have been working as instructors and guides for 8 years. They have had the privilege of teaching in such places as the Galapagos Islands- Egyptian Red Sea- and now the Maldives. They prefer liveaboards as this gives them the opportunity to get the best pictures and video. For more info please see this link About the Photographers
