Description: The Dive Rite Lumbar Backplate Pad is an option for divers that use a metal backplate in warm water conditions where little or no exposure protection is needed- or anytime more comfort is desired. The 10.5 x 16 inch pad mounts securely on any rigid backplate and features a quick release at the bottom- allowing the pad to be lifted for easy access to the backplate. The open-cell design does not compress due to pressure from the water column- so the pad is comfortable regardless of depth. The padding is also hydro-phobic- and post-dive it dries quickly.
