Epoque EHD 900Ai
Full review and details here is.gd Product Description Epoque EHD 900Ai The Epoque EHD-900Ai includes the Epoque housing rated to a depth of 150' (45m) combined with the Epoque inner camera. The fine 1/2.5" CMOS chip has an effective image quality of 9 megapixels, producing files for large detailed prints. The camera is equipped with a large, bright 2.4" LCD monitor. This makescomposition, replay, and adjustment easy on the eyes. The optical zoom lens has a 35mm equivalent of 36mm to 108mm. The port has a 55mm thread; 55mm wide-angle and close-up lenses can be used. The use of a wide-angle lens allows you to get closer to your subject. This eliminates water between you and your subject, increasing contrast and improving color. The wide angle conversion lens can be attached and removed when underwater. The Epoque EHD-900Ai housing allows access to all camera functions underwater. The camera is easy to use even for the novice. The camera is part of a system that will nurture your creativity and allow expansion of your underwater photo skills. High impact injection molded ABS construction and exclusive closure and seal design insures reliable performance in demanding underwater and outdoor photographic activities.

Epoque EHD-900Ai

At £199 all in (Cameras Underwater currently throws in a 2GB card for all the models listed here), the Epoque EHD-900Ai is the least expensive camera on review, but price alone doesn’t always reflect performance and capability. Photographically this
is an automatic point-and-shoot with no manual control over exposure or white balance but, for a beginner, sometimes less is more.
The build quality of the housing is robust, the overcentre closure catch is big and safe, and the ergonomics and operation of the push buttons are excellent. More importantly, however, external slave flashes can be triggered easily and there is a 55mm front filter
ring for attaching wide-angle and macro lenses and filters.
When choosing your first compact camera for underwater use, it is always difficult to really know how hooked you are going to become.
The beauty of the EHD-900Ai combination is that it can be expanded with accessories to suit your needs should you get the bug.
The provision of these features makes the Epoque EHD-900Ai a clear winner in terms of value for money.
