Tickets for the Bite-Back at Cancer charity dinner dance are on sale now. The event, which will be held in central London on 18 September, raises money for shark and marine conservation charity Bite-Back and Marie Curie Cancer Care.
The black tie dinner dance will be held on the RS Hispaniola, a permanently moored boat on the River Thames with views of the London Eye. The evening includes dinner, dancing, a casino and an auction where prizes include a holiday on a luxury yacht in Indonesia, a made-to-measure dry suit and a diving adventure with Monty Halls.
'Year on year this event is growing to become the most highly anticipated and prominent social gathering of scuba divers and friends in London,' said co-ordinator Stuart Keasley. 'Already a number of local diving clubs have pledged their support and the list of breathtaking auction prizes is growing daily.'
