Members of Buckingham Dive Centre are planning to play Twister underwater for 24 hours on 5-6 September.
Members of Buckingham Dive Centre practise playing Twister
The dive centre, which incorporates Stowe Sub Aqua Club and Buckingham Scuba Diving School, is hoping to set a new world record.
The event will raise money for charity CANCERactive, who give cancer patients easy to read, comprehensive information to help them make informed decisions about their treatment. Try dives and a raffle will also be held at the event, which will take place at Aylesbury Vales' Swan Pool, London Road, Buckingham.
George Hooper, marketing officer for Stowe Sub Aqua Club said: 'We wanted to raise money for the charity and came up with the idea of a sponsored 24 hour dive. But we wanted something else, otherwise we would get bored and someone suggested playing Twister - maybe we had spent too long at the bar!'
