The controls are manual, and you have to take your hand off one handle to operate the zoom function - in fact, record is the only control you can access without releasing the grip.
An internal coloured filter screws onto the camera, so must remain either on
or off throughout the entire dive. This
is unlike other housings tested here that have internal flip-up filters, which can be switched on or off while underwater. The housing I tested provided only limited access to the basic camera functions -
