BSAC national instructor Eugene Farrell flew over to the Egyptian Red Sea resort of Sharm El Sheikh to accredit a team of 13 BSAC open water instructors.
Dive centre operator Emperor Divers organised the event to develop some of its existing and new locations in Egypt as BSAC Diver Training Centres.
The series of two-day workshops to accredit the team was part of
the biggest event BSAC has ever staged for the staff of one dive operator. Instructor candidates
were from Emperor Diver centres
in Sharm El Sheikh, Safaga, Nuweiba and Marsa Alam.
Marcus Allen, BSAC chairman, said: 'This will help meet the demands of new customers choosing BSAC courses, and existing BSAC members to further their training.'
