TUSA_sf-15_X-pert_Zoom_Z3-thumbCharles Hood: high performance fins, if a little pricey

TUSA_sf-15_X-pert_Zoom_Z3-mainsf-15 X-pert Zoom Z3, £129

These fins from Tusa are made from three materials for increased performance, and feature the company’s patented 27-degree angled blade design. The blades have reinforced side rails that increase their stability, while the optimised blade scoops channel water more efficiently. According to the manufacturer, the hydrofoil design produces forward motion with less effort. The straps areequipped with Tusa’s ‘EZ’ buckle system.

The standard X-pert Zoom fins have long been a favourite here at the Test Centre, and the slightlylonger Z3 version didn’t disappoint. One of the lightest split fins we've tested, they seem to have the perfect blade-to-foot-pocket ratio, making them both highly manoeuvrable and powerful. My only criticism is they are a touch pricey, which, I was told, is due to the high value of the Euro (even though theyare made in Taiwan).

These fins are a little pricey but in some ways they look worth it.There colour the yellow makes it easyier for the diver's to see them. Which is another must also there wide range of colours makes it appeal top the wider audience. The sf-15 X-pert Zoom Z3 (made in Tusa) are a high perfromance peice of kit they should be on every divers wish list. The clue is in the name (sf-15 X-pert ZOOM Z3)helps divers conserve energy and drive through the water at speed but fast enough to enjoy and scene filled long energy converved dive. My only criticism again is that the sf-15 X-pert ZOOM Z3 is alittle pricey but could be a best seller if they brought down the price. Also they wouldnt have any criticism then.

the TUSA sf-15 X-pert Zoom Z3 Split Fins are excellent!
they allow excellent dexterity in the water and allow excellent control due to their light mass. they allow the the leg and foot to move as one in the water. as stated in the infomation above, they are very light, which allows it to have its exemplar properties. they have a secure strap whcih fit securely on almost all boots. however, as stated they are a little pricey, despite this they have several good features, all of which are a must for a diver.
overall, a good set of fins, which are suitable for most environments, and allow great dexterity and control in almost all water conditions, however they are slightly expensive and not as hardwaring as other models of fins on the market!
