Its sturdy design combined with plenty of D-rings makes it suitable for UK diving in all conditions and it is relatively simple to change between a single and twin-set configuration. Both shoulder straps can be parted for ease of removing the set and there is a large crotch strap preventing any unwanted squeeze when the BC is fully inflated at the surface. A lot of clever features have been packed onto this BC, including elastic retainer loops for tools and back-up torches, neoprene shoulder protectors, a safety cable inside the inflation hose preventing over extension and a padded backpack. This was one of the easiest wings to put on and take off and also the quickest to adjust to the correct setting (tightness). Competitively priced, you get a lot of goodies with the WTX for your money and, if you go for the weight-integrated option, it is one of the best on the market.
