Talaria, £74.95; spring straps, £8.95IST’s split fin is made from a thermal plastic rubber that is aimed at producing a balance between flexibility and rigidity. The foot pocket is oversized in order to accommodate drysuit boots.
The most ‘floppy’ of the split fins we've tested, the Talarias offer underwater agility – and you could imagine finning around with all day without getting a hint of calf fatigue or cramp.The downside is, perhaps, that they don’t provide as much power as others – that said,they were certainly good enough in the half-knot current running at the beginning of one of our test dives. We like these fins and they offer excellent value.
